This is an ongoing project where the artist builds and tests handmade, batteryless radios in various outdoor environments.
Begun in 2021, the artist documents how radio signals change based on weather, time, and location.
Named “Germanium Radio Exercises,” this daily routine serves as a lifelong habit that helps the artist design new radios, stay healthy, and find a meaningful reason to go outside in solitude.

ゲルマラジオ体操
これは、2021 年からはじめた無電源ラジオの自作と受信実験の記録である。
AM 送信塔との位置関係、天気、時間帯、湿度、風向きによって音の聞こえが変化する。
自作した受信機を携帯し、出向いた先で受信を試みる様子を記録した。
一連の行動をゲルマラジオ体操 * と名づけ、日常的に制作するラジオの改良、機構のバリエーションを増やすことに役立てるライフワークとして形を変えながら継続中。
（注）ゲルマラジオとラジオ体操の単語を組み合わせた造語。降雪地域で健康を保持すること、あえて一人で外出することが目的の一つ。
